Genti Xhaxhiu, currently serves as Coordinator at the Regional School of Public Administration, a joint initiative of the European Union and the Western Balkans. Earlier Gentian has covered many duties within the Albanian public administration mainly dealing with European and foreign affairs, cohesion policy, regional cooperation, EU funds management, etc. He is an external lecturer in various schools of government, delivering modules on EU affairs, governance and public speaking. Mr. Xhaxhiu holds an Executive Master in EU Studies by the Centre International de Formation Européenne (Berlin) and has attended the School of Public Affairs of Paris (Sciences Po) Programme in Management and Public Policy. During 2018-2019, Gentian was engaged as research fellow at the Institute for Jewish Research, in New York. Gentian has attended a number of qualifications at Harvard University, University of Virginia, College of Europe, etc. He has an excellent command of English, Italian and French.
