Cheryl Dueck

Dr. Cheryl Dueck is Senior Academic Director (International) and Professor of German at University of Calgary, Canada. She holds a B.A. and M.A. from University of Saskatchewan, and PhD from McGill University. As the academic lead in the international office, she works closely with the Vice-Provost International to deliver on the university’s Global Engagement Plan. She leads a series of externally-funded global learning, research, and internship projects for University of Calgary with international partners, addressing UN Sustainable Development Goals, as well as equitable and inclusive internships for groups underrepresented in global learning. She is co-author of the university’s Intercultural Capacity Framework.
