With a diverse background spanning industries such as Energy, Retail, and Higher Education, Bob is a sought-after speaker at both national and international conferences. His expertise encompasses a wide array of topics including Early Careers, Social Mobility, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Student Experience, and Student Outcomes. Recognized for his contributions, Bob has received numerous industry awards, particularly in the realm of graduate recruitment, development, and university career preparation. Notably, he played an integral role in Skyscanner’s recognition as Workplace of the Year in 2023 in Scotland. Bob holds an executive MBA from the University of Southampton and is esteemed as a fellow of the Institute of Student Employers, marking the first recipient not serving as CEO or Chair.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Bob is a co-founder of two impactful non-profits: the Global Career Services Summit and the 1 Hour Project. Inspired by his doctoral research, the 1 Hour Project aims to dismantle barriers to social mobility among graduates, embodying Bob’s commitment to fostering equity and opportunity.
