Business & Marketing Intern, CIEE

Biography

Ethan Lichtenberger is a globally minded communications and business professional. A 2024 graduate of Elon University, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication with a minor in Business Administration, with academic and professional work spanning brand messaging, digital media, global business, and communication strategy.

His international trajectory began with CIEE in Seville, Spain, where he studied International Business and Culture while completing an internship with a luxury real estate and hospitality firm. There, he supported multilingual, client-facing operations and developed targeted social media strategies for an international audience. He later returned to Seville to further develop his Spanish fluency, earning certifications through SIELE and DELE.

What distinguishes Ethan is not just where he has worked, but how he approaches the world. He has traveled across more than 20 countries and 100 cities, often independently, using each environment as a proving ground for adaptability, cultural awareness, and human connection. From motorcycling through northern Vietnam to catamaran island-hopping and remote camping in the Philippines, he has consistently sought out challenges that push him mentally and physically in unfamiliar environments. Rather than passively experiencing places, he actively immerses himself by studying language, navigating unfamiliar systems, and building relationships across cultures.

Alongside his global experience, Ethan has spent over eight years building a digital brand from the ground up. As the creator behind Ventvre, he has grown a global audience of more than 150,000 followers by combining analytics-driven strategy with high-impact, story-led content. His work turns lived experiences into narratives that resonate, connecting digital media with authentic, real-world perspective.

Currently serving as a Business and Marketing Intern with CIEE in Copenhagen, Ethan contributes to global marketing initiatives, student engagement strategy, and operational responsibilities. Known for his high-energy mindset, he approaches both life and business with a bias toward action, consistently seeking new challenges and ways to grow.

At this stage in his career, Ethan represents a new generation of globally aware professionals, defined not only by education, but by adaptability and a track record of turning experience into impact.
