Joann Ng Hartmann

Joann Ng Hartmann is the Senior Impact Officer at NAFSA: Association of International Educators. In her capacity, Joann helps advance and facilitate intentional and impactful strategies to effect meaningful change at the organizational level and beyond. Additionally, she provides strategic staff leadership for professional development training, programs, services and publications related to international students and scholars. She also has oversight for maintaining effective regulatory practice relationships with federal agencies that regulate mobility and enrollment of international students and scholars.

Prior to NAFSA, Joann was at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville directing and managing the student and scholar services unit. She has written training curriculum, presented numerous workshops and sessions at national and international conferences. She holds an MS in communication from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette.
