Biography

Ketevan Chincharadze is a foreign policy analyst and scholar specializing in great power competition and security dynamics in Eastern Europe. As the head of policy planning and content creator at FYI, Georgia’s first woman-led online analytical platform, she is redefining how geopolitics is communicated to Georgian audiences. She also serves as a research fellow at the Casimir Pulaski Foundation in Warsaw and contributes as an opinion columnist for Caucasus Watch.

With extensive experience in high-level policy advising and academic research, Ketevan has consulted for the Aspen Institute Congressional Program in Washington, D.C., where she educated over 150 U.S. Congress members on pressing global challenges. She organized policy discussions with global leaders and policymakers across four continents, addressing topics such as defense and security, international development, climate change, energy, and artificial intelligence. In addition to authoring numerous policy reports, she has conducted cutting-edge research on hybrid warfare with the U.S. Army War College.

In Georgia, Ketevan has worked with the NATO Liaison Office and the Administration of the President, contributing to regional security and governance initiatives. As CIEE’s 2018 Civic Leadership Summit fellow, she developed a venture that led to the creation of Georgia’s first Women, Peace, and Security International Conference in Tbilisi, advocating for women’s roles in peacebuilding and policymaking. She also co-founded FLOW—Future Leaders for an Open World—a nonprofit fostering collaboration between scholars and young professionals in the U.S. and Eastern Europe during the war in Ukraine.

Ketevan frequently provides expert commentary on global developments. Her analyses have been featured in international outlets such as The Diplomat, War Room, Caucasus Watch, and others.

A recipient of various prestigious scholarships and fellowships, she holds an MA in International Security from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver, and a dual BA in Political Science and Psychology from the American University in Bulgaria.
