Viva Sinniah

Vivakanandan Sinniah (Viva Sinniah) is the Executive Chairman of PSB Academy. He was appointed in 2015. Under Viva’s leadership PSB Academy saw phenomenal growth and is now the largest private education institute in Singapore with well over 20,000 students from all over Asia. PSB is well known for its high-quality undergraduate and post graduate education in business and STEM disciplines.

For the last 30 years Viva has been heading organisations as either CEO or Executive Chairman. Viva has successfully transformed organisations in diverse industries like Health, Education and Non-governmental sectors. He has also held senior positions in the Hospitality industry and the Singapore Civil Service. His main forte is organisational transformation.

Viva is the President of the Singapore Association of Private Education. This is the apex industry body for all the private education institutes in Singapore. Viva has been elected to this leadership position for 4 consecutive terms by his peers in the industry.

Viva is an active volunteer and has served in Government Statutory Board of Management, Government Committees and Task Forces. He has served as a volunteer leader in charities and non-governmental organisations. He has also led overseas relief missions. At present he is the head of a charity and two charity Trust Funds that provide scholarships to deserving students.

Viva Sinniah graduated in 1989, with a BA (Hons) from the National University of Singapore. He attained his master’s degree from University of Sydney in 1991. He has also attended Executive Management Courses at Harvard University. He was on the United States International Visitors Programme in 2000
